Twenty-two WNFR qualifications, over $2 million in career earnings, ProRodeo Hall of Fame inductee status and eight world championships, Joe Beaver knows what it takes to be a champion.  After all, his mantra is, “you compete from the neck down, but you win from the neck up.”  Joe is best known for his rodeo career in tie-down roping, which then led to his later team roping success as a header.  His talent with a rope has combined with his gift for sports psychology and he is now an accomplished clinician.  In 2012 alone, Joe coached nearly 1,000 students in 25 states and abroad.  His students, many of whom are up-and-coming superstars, rave about his approach to teaching both the physical and mental aspects of roping.

Mike Beers, World Champion Team Roper

Mike has been teaching people how to capture within themselves the roping techniques it takes to become a winner.  Being a World Champion, 24 time NFR competitor and 30 Time Columbia Circuit Finals Champion qualifies Mike to be an instructor; his patience, understanding and articulate mannerisms are what set him apart from other instructors. Starting from the ground up, Mike has the ability to teach basic roping fundamentals, moving the students up to moving objects such as the Heel-O-Matic, and then on to live steers. Every Student that has attended a Mike Beers Roping School is a winner. They have “experienced the difference” and have learned the skills that allow them to “practice perfect”.
